An OG Wine Pour is a glass of wine (white, red or white zin) filled all the way to the top. “OG” stands for Olive Garden. At the Olive Garden, an Italian restaurant chain specializing in premium mediocrity as expressed through gigantic bowls of pasta containing three days’ sodium allowance, bottomless breadsticks and “salad” consisting mostly of iceberg lettuce, the serving staff is instructed to fill glasses of wine all the way to the brim.
At a Chili’s binge following an LA Marathon training run, the waiter arrives and sets a glass of pinot grigio, splashing over the top it’s so full, in front of Adam.
Adam, “That’s an OG Pour.”
