This is goodr’s third collaboration with Denver Zoo, a non-profit Zoo dedicated to saving wildlife through education and conservation. These new All I Do Is Penguin Win Win Win sunnies honor Denver Zoo’s African penguins with a fun gray and black feather print design inspired by our fabulous little feathered friends. All proceeds from these shades will go to Denver Zoo.
Silly fact, did you know that African penguins are sometimes referred to as jackass penguins?! They aren’t called that because they do stupid, death-defying tricks on a reality show, but rather because they bray like donkeys. (Carl the Flamingo does too, when he’s drunk and can’t find the TV remote. Don’t tell him we told you that.)
African penguins are among Denver Zoo’s most popular species, waddling around their habitat in now-closed Bird World for more than 20 years. Now the Zoo’s 17 African penguins, a species deemed endangered by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, are getting a brand-new home: Pinnacol African Penguin Point.
